Gilglio island, is located in central Italy to 20 km. from thr coast of Tuscany, reachable by ferry from Porto S. Stefano. The nearest airports are those of Rome and Pisa, Rome-Fiumicino is the closest and is 140 km. (about two hours) away from Porto S. Stefano while Rome-Ciampino airport is 160 km. and Pisa 200 km. (about two and a half hours )away from Porto S. Stefano

Fiumicino airport take the shuttle bus (every 15 minutes) to go down to Rome Ostiense where you take the train (Rome-Pisa), which leads to Orbetello Scalo, from there in front of the station (every 15 minutes) buses to Porto Rama Santo Stefano (stop before the ferry) price € 1.80

Campese beach is the place where the race will start. It is located on the west side of the island, 6 km from the harbour which is located on the east side of the island.

There are various hotels in the area but we strongly recommend the following, which is in walking distance from the competition site and for which we have negotiated special rates.
